Our Story

As a Certified Red Seal Carpenter, James Haddrell brings 15 years’ residential construction experience to ensure every build is constructed with superior craftsmanship and attentive quality. Having completed and led various projects over the years from high-end homes to modest and extensive renovations, he looks forward to continuing to use his diverse skillset on new initiatives. Professional and collaborative, James enjoys meeting new people and putting clients at ease during the construction process.

Named after the Australian ironbark tree, the name Ironbark Construction Ltd gives recognition to James’ Australian background while also serving as a symbol of strength and resilience. While James is not original to the Sunshine Coast, his wife, Christina grew up here and they are thrilled to be able to raise their family amongst extensive family and friends. James is ready to provide his construction and home building expertise, helping to enhance the community with each completed project.
